I took my husband to Chayz Lounge for his birthday. We had a great time. The atmosphere, food, service, and music were on point. We loved that the owner visited each table and greeted customers. We will be back.

Tonight was my first visit to Chayz Lounge, and it absolutely will not be my last. Everything about the evening felt intentional — the intimate atmosphere, the warm and attentive staff, the comforting and delicious food, and one of the best bourbon cocktails I’ve had in a long time (the Etta James was perfection). Most of all, I loved the feeling of the space itself: candlelight, soft conversation, a talented trio, and a room full of people who were truly there to listen and enjoy the music. What struck me most was how welcoming and gracious the entire experience felt, from the impeccable waitstaff to the beautiful owner whose presence seemed to set the tone for the evening. Elegant yet relaxed, lively yet peaceful — the kind of place where the night unfolds at exactly the right pace. Some places entertain you. Others restore you a little. This was the latter. What a gift to have a space like this so close to home.

Love the atmosphere. Differently a grown folks affair. Food and service is great. Me and my wife had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed the music.

Absolutely enjoyed this place. It was something different for us, but we enjoyed everything from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. The drinks were great, haven't tried the food yet but I'm sure it will not disappoint. Service/staff was friendly, warm, and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy, personal, and intimate. The performance was great and very much enjoyable. I met the owner, she was amazing, humble, warm and welcoming as well. I most certainly am looking forward to going back, immediately!!

Awesome!!! You really know how to treat your guest. Familiar and 1st timers. You need to teach "kind of blue" in Hilton Head. The food was delish and service was great and you had a welcoming atmosphere at the door. The entertainment was superior.

I had an amazing time for my first visit and I'll definitely be back. The crab cakes were DELICIOUS and were basically all crab meat and the salmon and grits dish was just as good. The vibe was calm and chill with live saxophone music accompanying old-school and 90's R&B. The waitress was kind, thoughtful and checked on us often and they give everyone sanitizer as they walk in (a huge plus and tells me they value cleanliness). This is for sure one of my new favorite places in Columbia.

✨️ My first visit I must say was amazing! The lounge offers a relaxing ambiance with an eclectic flare. The owner Chaye is attentive and personable. Dinner was so good I had to personally compliment the Chef 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The staff is, knowledge and professional, with great service vibes. Live music and events, I will definitely be returning!

Chayz lounge with Tom Browne was a night to remember. Great romantic spot for grown folks. The music was great with an Ole school vibe. We enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. We'll done Chay, we'll be back. I have not been to many places where the owner personally greeted each guest. Loved the personal touch and the jazz.

First experience and loved it. Food was good and the music was really fun. There were two tables where it was a ladies night out and celebrating a birthday. I hope to get some ladies out to enjoy this place.

Chayz Lounge gave us an unforgettable night in Columbia. The atmosphere was smooth, intimate, and grown‑folks classy. Hank Bilal and Phil Denny put on an incredible show…. pure talent, pure soul. My family and I laughed, vibed, and enjoyed every moment. The service was warm, the music was top‑tier, and the entire experience felt like a night out we didn’t know we needed. Columbia nights hit different at Chayz Lounge. We’ll definitely be back.
